Position Summary

Under the direction of the Supervisor of Enforcement Services, be responsible for:

Duties

• Issuing of parking violation tickets
• Make court appearances for prosecutions when necessary
• Work flexible hours with a 35-hour week
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum completion of Grade 12
• Post-secondary education in Police Foundations or related field is an asset
• Experience in security or related experience
• Knowledge of general office procedures
• Knowledge and ability to use tablets, smartphones and other handheld devices required
• Data entry experience and accuracy required
• Ability to meet the public with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to walk outdoors in all weather conditions for long period of time
• Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence
• Clear Driver’s Abstract
• Current and clear Criminal Record Check with Judicial Maters Check
• Ability to communicate verbally in any additional languages relevant to our municipality an asset
