Core Technician

Cadillac Mines Corporation (CMC) is a Canadian exploration company that is actively drilling and conducting exploration activities to evaluate gold mineralization present around the historic workings of the KerrAddison Mine, situated in McGarry Township located in Northern Ontario. Since 2015, Cadillac Mines has drilled over 130,000m on the property and extensive land position extending 6km along the Larder Lake Cadillac Break. Cadillac Mines successfully defined significant gold mineralization over the years. In 2025,
Cadillac Mines released a multi-million ounce combined open pit and underground gold mineral resource estimate. In addition, Cadillac Mines recently released an initial mineral resource estimate on the newly discovered Geminid nickel deposit, validating the mineralized potential of the Company’s land position. In addition, with the company's recent expansion across the Quebec boarder, Cadillac Mines’ Abitibi land position now encompasses an additional 20,000 hectares of tenure along the Larder Lake Cadillac Break, significantly enhancing the company's growth potential and offering exceptional exploration upside.

Role Summary:
Reporting to the Lead Core Technician, you will be responsible for core handling, geotechnical logging,
sampling support and facility organization in support of the geology team. This role plays a key part in
ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient processing of drill core from receipt to final storage, in accordance
with Company Geotechnical Logging and Core Sampling Procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and those around you by adhering to Cadillac Mines
Environmental, Health and Safety policies.
• Receive, align, and organize core boxes as they arrive from drill sites.
• Move core between stations and storage using manual methods or forklifts.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment in the core shack and yard.
• Organize and label long-term core storage systematically.
• Perform RQD, recovery, hardness, orientation, magnetic susceptibility, point load, and specific gravity/density measurements following approved procedures.
• Photograph and/or scan core systematically with proper scale and lighting.
• Record geotechnical measurements and complete data entry in database.
• Ensure consistent application of procedures and flag any anomalies to supervising staff.
• Mark sample intervals under supervision of geologists.
• Assist with core cutting and sampling as needed, maintaining sample integrity and clear documentation.
• Assist with basic housekeeping and material handling as directed.
• Adhere to chain-of-custody protocols during sample preparation.
• Operate a forklift as required to move core racks, pallets and materials.
• Participate in toolbox talks and contribute to a proactive safety culture.
• Complete all other tasks assigned by the Lead Core Technician or Project Manager.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma, or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience in exploration, mining, or industrial settings preferred.
• A demonstrated commitment to safety, environment, and community.
• Comfortable working with machinery, power tools, and sample handling.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to follow instructions, maintain focus, and work safely in a fast-paced environment.
• First Aid and WHMIS training considered assets.
Schedule:
Position is project based, working 8 days at site followed by 6 days off rotation. Typical workday is 10 hours.
