This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to help oversee daily operations, support business growth, and contribute to the continued success of one of Northern Ontario's established equipment rental businesses. As part of the Attawapiskat Enterprises Group of Companies, you will be joining an Indigenous-owned organization committed to excellence, innovation, and community development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operations of Gord's Rentals.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision to employees.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships.
- Assist with inventory management, equipment utilization, and operational efficiency.
- Help identify opportunities for business growth and service expansion.
- Support budgeting, reporting, and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum three (3) years of supervisory or management experience.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Texada software is considered an asset.
- Experience in the equipment rental, construction, industrial would be expected
- Knowledge of Indigenous communities or Indigenous business is an asset.
