TEMPORARY LABOURERS (Facilities Management Department) (November 2019 to March 2020) (Competition No.: CDS-2019-22)
Contract • Timmins Region
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the individuals will be expected to perform the duties listed below:
? Perform general labourer work as assigned
? Construct, maintain and monitor outdoor skating surface at Hollinger Park
? Maintain, clean and monitor washroom facilities at Hollinger Park
? Maintain daily logbook detailing work performed
? Alternating weekend/weekday shifts will apply
? Applicants must possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License, Class G
? Grade 12 education or equivalency
? Demonstrated skills, knowledge and ability to build and maintain outdoor ice surfaces would be an asset
? Applicant must demonstrate a history of good attendance with prior employers
? Demonstrated skills, knowledge and ability to operate a truck mounted plow an asset
? Ability to follow oral and written instructions
? Applicant must be self-motivated and able to work independently
? Physical ability to perform medium to heavy category work in typical winter conditions
? Current WHMIS Certificate an asset
? Clear Driver’s Abstract required
Classification : Labourer
Rate of Pay: $25.42/hr (In accordance with CUPE Local 210 Agreement)
