Requirements:

• Health and Safety Certificate or University diploma. 2-5 years’ experience/and or education in related field.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication and welding.
• Proficient with Windows based programs and Microsoft Office Suite.

Roles and Responsibilities

• To oversee all Health and Safety activities of the company and ensure compliance with applicable provincial regulations
• Provide and present all aspects of Health and Safety training and certifications to all employees, supervisors and managers.
• Liaison with Ministry of Labour
• Coordinates incident investigations and provide effective follow up for corrective actions.
• Coordinate meetings and assist with Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC).

• Full time, permanent.
• Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
