The East End Family Health team is a Blended Inter-disciplinary health care team that provides care to individuals throughout their life cycle. The team provides a full range of services including specialized foot care, mental health counselling, diabetic programing and more recently, on site blood collection. Presently the team provides services to 1,600 patients supported by two nurse practitioners with plans to expand the physician complement (part-time/full-time) and patients rostered.

The East End Family Health Team clinic is located in the Northern College Timmins Campus, which is situated on a park like setting overlooking beautiful Porcupine Lake. The region's economy is resource based with activity in mining and forestry, although tourism also plays a role in the economy. The region is noted for its great outdoor activities year round.

Within the region, there are over 500 hundred lakes and rivers nestled into incredibly stunning landscapes that you'll be sure to enjoy. Fishing, hiking, mountain biking and ATVing are some of the common past times you can take advantage of. In the winter, cross country and downhill skiing, hockey and snowmobiling are other common activities.
